Book that raised passions has now raised £1,700

The Monumental Women Writing Group have presented a cheque for £1,700 to SURE, the charity that raises money for the equipment at the Beacon Centre.  The money was raised from sales of  our book, Monumental Women’s Ink,  which features stories and poems in different genres.  But it was ‘The Conquering Gibraltarian Adonis’ that helped to generate the interest that led to coverage in the local and national press and the five print runs necessary to cope with demand for the book, which is still available from Amazon by the way! Huge thanks to everyone who helped us achieve this fantastic result.
